Professional education
Professional education is playing an important role at the Brandenburg State Stud. Whether at school in the subject “horse riding” or during the 3-year-apprenticeship to become a certified groom, we provide qualified tuition with a long-term vision.
Apprenticeship “Certified groom”
About five to seven out of over 200 applicants are accepted to start their 3-year-apprenticeship with the focus on breeding and horse management at the Brandenburg State Stud.
“Reiten bis zum Abitur” – Riding in secondary school
Performance at school and engaging pupils with horses can easily be combined in Neustadt. The project “Riding up to the A-levels” is unique in Germany and is jointly managed by the the Brandenburg State Stud, the Prince von Homburg Secondary School, the boarding school “Spiegelberg” and the City of Neustadt.
The talent program
In a special class, especially talented pupils are being trained according to their various talents. Qualified instructors of the stud teach the young riders in theory as well as in the saddle, depending on their riding levels.
