Askari

Two World Champions in one year - only Askari can do that!

We are pleased to offer the Holstein stallion Askari, one of the most successful show jumping sires in Germany. His greatest sporting figurehead is DSP Alice. Under the saddle of Simone Blum, she excellently won the World Champion title of the show jumpers in Tryon/USA. Already in 2017, the Askari daughter out of a dam by Landrebell was highly successful under Simone Blum. They won the German Show Jumping Championships in the men's competition, the Grand Prix of Lausanne and San Giovanni as well as the German Master title in Stuttgart. In addition, the two were highly placed many times, e.g. in the Gobal Champions Tour in Berlin, in Nörten-Hardenberg and in Aachen. But Askari's daughter Asha P was also the 2018 World Champion of Young Eventing Horses under Ingrid Klimke at Le Lion d'Angers as well as the 2020 German Champion - a great success for the full sister of the licensed DSP Araldik. Askari is the dam's sire of the reigning European Show Jumping Champion, DSP Chakaria.

Askari began his first-class sporting and breeding career in Neustadt (Dosse). Here he won the HLP in the jumping section with 144 points as well as in tests for young show jumpers under GOW Olaf Michaelis. He was a two-time finalist at the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf and won the title of Vice Bundeschampion under Dirk Ahlmann in 2002. In addition, Askari can look back on well over 100 successes in national and international competitions up to advanced (S***) level. The sire Acord II has progeny lifetime earnings of around 2.5 million Euros. Askari's dam can point to two other advanced (S) level show jumpers, and the granddam Tibris is a full sister of the stallions Calypso I and II. In addition to Askari's impressive sporting quality and secure genetics, his phenomenal jumping pedigree speaks for this.
